Social networking sites are also great for our investigations. This would include sites such as My space and Face book. These sites are hugely popular with people from all over the world. These sites are useful because they give their members the ability to create personal profiles. These profiles contain tons of personal information ready for us to use. A lot of these services also allow you to conduct searches on the profiles.
Free people search sites just don’t really exist. The closest you can get to a free service whitepages.com or something similar. There are paid services that will provide you with public data. A paid people search site will provide you with not only your basic data but civil, criminal, marriage and traffic records. This data is taken from public databases from all over the country. These services are useful but can cost you between $20 – $50.
